Crooked GAL Evelyn Nissirios: Who Does She Think She Is?

NJ Family Law Buffoon Tries to Sanction a World-Famous Psychiatrist — and It Backfires Spectacularly

Brazen GAL Tries to Gag the Wrong Sister

Evelyn Nissirios, a New Jersey guardian ad litem, just picked a fight with the wrong ones.

In a series of jaw-dropping court filings, Nissirios asked a federal judge to punish Dr. Bandy X. Lee — a world-renowned psychiatrist and violence expert — for speaking out about corruption in Bergen County’s family court.

Dr. Bandy Lee, M.D., M.Div., is a central figure in national Family Court Reform.

Her demand? Sanctions against Dr. Lee and her legendary constitutional lawyer, Bruce Fein.

That’s right. She wants a Reagan-era DOJ veteran and civil liberties icon fined for defending free speech.

“She has no idea what ‘real law’ looks like outside the Bergen County family court machine,” said one court insider. “She’s never even heard of Kafka, let alone Bruce Fein.”

Dr. Lee’s federal suit accuses Nissirios, Family Court Judge Jane Gallina-Mecca, and others of violating civil rights through gag orders, harassment, and fraud.

But Nissirios fired back with a sanctions motion claiming she’s the victim.

Her brief, dripping with entitlement, demands punishment for Dr. Lee’s protected speech, online articles, and legal filings.

In response, Dr. Lee called it “brazen,” citing Nissirios’s long record of abusing court appointments to retaliate against protective parents.

“The court system is attracting the worst personalities,” Dr. Lee said. “Instead of serving children, they serve themselves.”

Fein, who helped draft the Articles of Impeachment against President Nixon, isn’t amused.

“The Constitution does not stop at family court doors,” he said. “This is the most dangerous kind of censorship — prior restraint by corrupt judges and officers.”

$5,000 Turns Into $27,000 Over an Article Patricia Didn’t Even Write

Nissirios’s vendetta began long before the federal lawsuit. It started with Patricia Lee — Dr. Lee’s sister — a protective mother who lost her kids in a family court battle plagued by judicial misconduct.

After Patricia filed a civil suit against Nissirios in 2022, Judge Rachelle Harz dismissed it on immunity grounds.

Then came the real shock: Harz ordered Patricia to pay $26,713.06 in sanctions — even though the judge had originally said $5,000 would be “more than fair.”

Why the increase?

Harz cited a third-party article critical of the court, one Patricia didn’t write.

“She punished me for something my sister and others wrote,” Patricia said. “It was guilt by association.”

Court transcripts show the judge fuming over the article, then abruptly quintupling the penalty. No evidence linked Patricia to its publication. But Harz invoked it anyway — even using language lifted straight from Family Court Judge Jane Gallina-Mecca.

Gallina-Mecca, long accused of biased rulings and retaliatory gag orders, was the very judge Nissirios had worked with in Patricia’s custody case.

“Gallina-Mecca is a scourge on the bench,” said Dr. Lee. “She violates the Constitution daily and gets away with it because the system protects its own.”

Gallina-Mecca had previously issued a prior restraint order against Dr. Lee, banning her from publishing articles and ordering the removal of existing ones. That order came after the judge muted Dr. Lee’s mic during a hearing, then claimed she had “consented.”

“This is not just unethical,” Fein said. “It’s the opposite of justice.”

Family Court Racket Exposed — Reformers Call for Impeachment

The Nissirios saga is just one example of the rot inside New Jersey’s family court system — a racket where GALs, judges, and lawyers operate without oversight.

Dr. Lee and Bruce Fein are helping lead a national movement to impeach rogue judges like Jane Gallina-Mecca.

Fein, who once argued before the U.S. Supreme Court and helped write the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act, has described the situation in Bergen as “a flagrant abuse of constitutional rights.”

“It’s a star chamber,” said Family Court Reform Activist David Weigel. “These judges retaliate against anyone who dares speak out.”

Wall Street Fiduciary David Weigel

Wall Street veteran David Weigel founded the Family Court Fraud Warrior Project to expose systemic corruption in America’s family courts and empower victims to fight back after his own “decade-long divorce” in the New York State Supreme Court.

Gallina-Mecca’s list of victims includes Kevork Kiwanian, who is an active member of the FCFWP. Kevork was gagged and stripped of visitation after exposing court misconduct.

Others have reported similar patterns: protective mothers punished, abusers shielded, and whistleblowers silenced.

Meanwhile, Nissirios continues to lash out, filing a cyber harassment complaint against Dr. Lee and securing a Temporary Protective Order (TPO) based solely on articles critical of her conduct.

“She misuses domestic violence laws to silence critics,” Dr. Lee said. “It’s perverse.”

In her sanctions motion, Nissirios accuses Dr. Lee of harassment for published articles like this one and this one, articles Dr. Lee didn’t even write.

But those articles document how Nissirios allegedly suppressed exculpatory psychiatric reports, lied to police, and conspired with the father of Patricia Lee’s children to stage a violent seizure of the kids.

“This is the biggest child trafficking business in the country,” Dr. Lee wrote. “And it’s happening under the banner of ‘best interests of the child.’”

Time’s Up: National Spotlight Turns to Bergen’s Broken Bench

Dr. Lee’s federal lawsuit — backed by Bruce Fein — may finally drag Bergen’s corrupt court players into the light. Her filing seeks to overturn gag orders, vacate fines, and expose how family court actors use sham proceedings to silence and punish.

The campaign is gaining momentum. Advocates across the country have rallied around Patricia’s story, comparing her treatment to Soviet-style show trials.

Online, a growing chorus is calling for Gallina-Mecca’s impeachment, Nissirios’s disbarment, and federal intervention into courts in New Jersey and nationwide.

“This is what happens when nobody checks these people,” Dr. Lee said. “But now, the world is watching.”

Activists like Weigel agree.

“We must make an example of them,” he said. “And we’re going to remind every judge and court officer that the First Amendment still means something — even in a viper’s nest like Bergen County, New Jersey.”

Who does Evelyn Nissirios think she is?

We’re about to find out.
